What's so good about it? A software still needs two files? Is DR-DOS's XCOPY not good?

Isn't DR-DOS's XCOPY good?
It's best to use XCP, which is not only powerful but also supports long filenames.

I need to rescue a 200G hard disk. Now in DOS, I can see the files on drive D, but in Windows XP, I can find the hard disk but can't access it. Please, great experts, give me some advice.
