Today I tried again, but the result was not good.
1. In the DOS 8.0 state of WinME, I tried to use a U disk that can be driven on my machine on a MMX 233 notebook, and it crashed.
2. In the DOS 8.0 state of WinME, I tried the same U disk on a Tongfang C4 (845GL) desktop computer, and it crashed.
3. In the DOS 7.1 of Win98, I tried the same U disk on another Tongfang C4 (845GL) desktop computer of the same model, and it didn't crash, but reported an unrecognized device.
4. Continuing to test on my own machine (DOS 7.1, 815E) that I tried yesterday, it can still be driven.
In the four experiments, I did not use any parameters. It seems that this USBMASS.EXE may not be compatible with DOS 8.0. In experiment 3, the desktop computer has 6 USB ports, and I inserted the first two (USB5/6). I don't know if it is for this reason.

This is the latest version USBMASS 4.05 released on October 12, 2005, which has been cracked.
Just change je (84) to jne (85) at 28EDE with HIEW.
Note that there are a CMP and a CALL respectively above and below, and this je is the key judgment place.
