(Continued from the previous floor) I downloaded a full installation version of MS-DOS 7.10 and tried to install it from the hard disk, but it didn't work.
1. I don't have a floppy drive. I booted into DOS with a bootable CD, but then I couldn't read the CD drive anymore (don't know why, set it aside for now), so I must install from the hard disk. I have to copy the files under Windows first and then enter to install;
2. I extracted the downloaded files with RAR (including all the *.rar, *.zip, *.iso inside) to D:\dos. After entering DOS, I ran setup in d:\dos. When I got to the interface where I needed to specify a source file path, the default a: didn't work, and I changed it to d:\dos but it still didn't work, and the installation couldn't continue. Which part is wrong? Hope to get it solved, thanks.
