Wengier,
Hello.
I am very grateful that you made the Super MS-DOS 7.10 bootable disk. I have downloaded this program from the URL of your site http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/mdos71bd.zip.
During the use, I encountered the following problems:
1. When using vfloppy1.5 to make the image into a virtual disk to boot win2000, winxp or in the VMWARE4 virtual machine, starting with items 3 and 4, sometimes it is relatively normal to use, but it always cannot drive the U disks of Longking and Samsung, and the mobile hard disk of Yihua Big Warehouse; sometimes it prompts that C: cannot be accessed, then the virtual system C and D partitions cannot be accessed and crash;
2. After writing to the floppy disk, in the end of September, when booting the system on Lenovo (PIII866, 128M, Seagate 20G, Nvidia M64 16M (44.03 Driver Whql), win98se, via693x, 4in1 4.49), starting with the default items 3 or 4 on the disk, the C partition cannot be used again, and the operating system is damaged and cannot be started again. On my own computer (abit be6-II, PIII866 or PIII450, 192M, two maxtor 6.4G, one master and one slave), the above phenomenon also occurs. Often after using VC, the C drive can be viewed, and when viewing again, sometimes it freezes, restarts, and the file names in the C and D drives are wrong. For example, the original is chenhu2, then it becomes " hu2", and it cannot be accessed. But after restarting, the C drive cannot be used, and the files in the D drive are normal; I tried again yesterday, but it could drive the Samsung U disk; when copying and creating folders such as system in VC, there is no response during copying, and after restarting, it is empty. There was a USB directory on the D drive originally, which became " B", Songs became " ngs", and the C and D partition errors occurred. All partitions such as G and F drives that have been accessed in the previous DOS state have the same error! When checking with Norton PartitionMagic 8.05 DOS version, the following prompt appears: "Norton PartitionMagic has detected an error 116 on the partition starting at sector 63 on disk1. The starting LBA value is 63 and the CHS value is 62. The LBA and CHS value must be equal. Norton PartitionMagic has verified the LBA value is correct and can fix the CHS value. Would you like Norton PartitionMagic to fix this error? ", according to the prompt, after confirming several times, "The partition table error was successfully fixed!" appears. After restarting and entering PartitionMagic, both hard disks cannot be found! Then after booting the machine with the bootable disk made by the win98se system, it directly prompts that the hard disks are not partitioned! ----- Then I had to re-partition and reinstall the system again, but the data on the partition was all gone. Although it is not important data, but what if it is important data?

Through these phenomena, I wonder whether the problem is from the hardware or from the related files (VC, DUSE, usbaspi, emm386, long filename and Chinese-English support) in the Super MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk in terms of stability and compatibility. I don't know. But I found that few friends in the forum said they encountered such problems, I don't know why. So I contact you to ask for your advice.
