Super moderator ROY said on the 9th floor: Can add "Refuse to install MS-DOS 7.10 under NTFS system". What does it mean? My C drive is in NTFS format. After booting MS-DOS 7.10, it prompts that NTFS installation is not supported. How to solve this? Thanks

You convert the C drive to FAT32 using PQMAGIC and then install it!

I want to install DOS 7.1 in the machine so that I can use Ghost. The machine doesn't have a floppy drive, so I downloaded the CD boot version of DOS 7.1, burned it to a CD, and then ran the SETUP.BAT file in the DOS71CD.ISO file. The screen flashed and then disappeared, and it wasn't installed when I checked again. Running SETUP.BAT in the fake DOS "Command Prompt" under XP prompts for an error. It also seems that the CD can't boot. Although it has been set to boot from the CD, the XP interface still pops up every time. Please, experts, give me some advice. What's the problem here? How exactly should I install it? Urgent! Urgent! Urgent!

You should install the DOS system first and then install XP. You can't do it the other way around; if you do it the other way, it will cause errors.
