I have an IBM Pentium 166 notebook. It has a CD-ROM drive and a floppy drive. But the CD-ROM drive can only run after the system is booted. The hard disk is 778M. The BIOS is very simple.
Now the hard disk has been formatted by me. There is no system and it can't boot.
Can you help me..? How can I install the system??
I have tried to install using USB on another computer. But DOS can't find the USB.
Can I use the A: drive??
Dear expert, please help!!!

It is estimated that your motherboard does not support USB. Boot the machine with the floppy drive and then install 98 from the optical drive.
