You're not using DOS 6.22, are you?
DOS 7.10 (or a 98/ME boot disk) can recognize them all

Definitely not. What I'm using is a hybrid of Wengier's boot disk and the WIN98 boot disk. Below is the content shown when executing CONFIG.SYS:

So you're using the ROM-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made?? If you want to use commands like FILESHIGH and get larger UMB memory, please use the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk!!

The former is a standard MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk, so of course it does not support USB devices, but you can easily add USB drive support yourself through the above modifications to CONFIG.SYS and other files; the latter is the super MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk.

Didn't I already say it? To drive specific USB devices, you need to make corresponding modifications to CONFIG.SYS (for example, remove DUSE, etc.), rather than using something ready-made.
