I tried the OP's image viewer. If you're looking at one image, it's pretty good. It's green software, starts fast, and the results are okay too. But as a most basic image viewer, it's still not enough, because usually we need to view multiple images, so a browser is indispensable. Also, it should have page-turning keys and zoom in/zoom out keys.
