The download links of 14 game CDs I collected (all DOS game discs have been uploaded) - China DOS Union Forum

Rich Man 1st generation. The scanned image is too large to upload.

I tried it. It's really not fun. It only has the meaning of collection.

The scanned picture is about 6MB and can't be uploaded.

You can shrink it with IrfanView and then upload it.

The game CDs I collected before were all thrown away by me. Now I think it's really a pity.

Thanks for sharing the old CD! I like collecting DOS games, which are concise and to the point.

Hope it's a CD image, haha

The 10th CD, 355M, is being uploaded. The title is "Golden Years (Part 2)". There happen to be 100 games, and it has a directory. Unfortunately, there are 12 games with file errors (there is a completely transparent spot in the middle of the disc), so they have to be deleted. Now I will first upload the directory.

Just find a chemistry teacher to repair it using the silver mirror reaction and it can be used...

You can repair it by finding a chemistry teacher to use the silver mirror reaction...

First, clean the affected area (avoid oil), then mix glucose + silver ammonia solution and drop it on the affected area...

Silver ammonia solution = silver nitrate solution with excessive ammonia added dropwise...

Since this reaction has high requirements for concentration, quantity, and temperature, it is best to have a high school chemistry teacher perform it.

After repairing, quickly make a backup of the CD.

Icebird is very diligent, give you a round of applause. It is suggested that you might as well make an old game album on Qianjun Wanma www.qjwm.com, so that everyone can also download as needed.

There is no need for CD images, these are pirated CDs, and there is no encryption, so there is not much difference in making images.

I have played the silver mirror reaction before. If the school has these raw materials, it is not difficult to get them. The problem is that the school is on vacation now, and secondly, whether these games are worth it.

The silver mirror reaction should have been done in high school many years ago. Has such repair been successful? Another thing: Being a teacher is really good! We start having the holiday only on New Year's Eve! Only three days off.

The biggest benefit of being a teacher is having more holidays, but it's actually quite tiring. Also, I found a few more game CDs. I'm currently uploading the 11th one, which is 533M.

The silver mirror reaction cannot repair the data coating. The CD data coating is on the printing side. The parts of the coating not covered by printed paint are easy to wear or be invaded by microorganisms. The CD is transparent and the data has been physically lost. So it is necessary to paste a protective film on the CD without printed paint. The silver mirror reaction or repairing with an oil-based pen can only reduce the reading time and make the music CD without check data play more smoothly, which is meaningless for data CDs. The data of DVDs is in the plastic interlayer, and there is no need to paste a protective film.

The original version is difficult to find or has become extinct, and pirated versions also have great collection value. If you have an affection for a disc, even if there are some rubbish inside, I will keep its integrity. Moreover, the current storage cost is very low, and it is not worth spending a lot of time and energy to sort it out again. The time for making an image is faster than copying files, and compressing into 7Z also saves a lot of space. The current computers can extract it very quickly. Hope to consider it.

ISO can save the name, date, and size of damaged files, providing reference information for finding good files to replace.
