If there is no %PATH%, then it is equivalent to resetting the PATH variable without keeping the original one.

I can't use EDIT directly. AUTOEXEC.BAT has the following lines:
PATH C:\DOS;C:\DBASE;C:\PK PATH C:\CLIENT;%PATH% PATH C:\ So that means PATH C:\ overwrote PATH C:\DOS;C:\DBASE;C:\PK, so when using EDIT it can't point to DOS? |
