90% fake. I heard Microsoft never released a version number 1.00, only premiere edition.
The so-called 1.00 was actually made by someone modifying the strings of 1.01.

You can compare the times and sizes of the system files with 1.01.

Because there is no SHA1 hash value officially provided by MSDN for comparison, it is actually very hard to tell whether it is real or fake!
The time of the Windows 1.00 system files is 1985-11-10 4:32:18, and the seconds are all the same!
The time of the Windows 1.01 system files is 1985-11-15 5:42:00, and the seconds differ for many files!

The time can be changed. All files having the same time is evidence of modification.

You can dir it and see whether there is any difference in file size between your so-called 1.00 and 1.01. If it is a modified version, the sizes of key system files will definitely be the same.

It’s old stuff. The WIN system platform has developed really fast. Classic.

In order to capture a clear boot LOGO, I looked for many virtual machines:
VMware Workstation, Virtual PC: even if they can capture it, the screen is corrupted;
In QEMU, after changing the floppy disk midway, it can’t recognize it, and there are quite a few BUGs;
DOSBox is pure command-line, and I don’t have time to study it;
Bochs is the best. Hehe, using SLOWDOWN to slow it down to XT level, it can capture a clear boot LOGO, and it’s even an animated LOGO :)

Please upload the so-called "windows 1.00"; I’ll take a look at whether it’s real or fake.

As for the startup animation, the one in my first post was captured with dosbox.

It has already been verified: it is fake. All file sizes are the same as 1.01, and it is actually a 1.44M floppy disk image.

Please, OP, provide the installation methods for a and d. I know how to install p and b, because they have setup.exe.
But a and d do not have setup.exe, and the documentation is in English, so I don’t understand what it says.
Please give some guidance, OP.
