My computer doesn't have 4GB of memory, so I can't test it. Can you help?
Also, RDISK can be used up to 4GB... but not many friends have 4GB!

It's not about virtualizing a 4GB virtual disk, but when using the /t parameter in an environment with 4GB of memory to load the memory disk (of any size) virtualized by XMSDSK.EXE to the upper memory area, it crashes... Looking at the RDISK instructions, currently RDISK doesn't have a parameter for this similar function yet...

Brother Jack is currently working hard, and progress has been made in converting RDISK.SYS to .COM.

The answer is all: I understand you are not talking about a 4GB RAMdisk, but I don't have a 4GB environment to test!

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre A57 9851 with 4GB of RAM. It shows 3.24GB under Windows. I wonder if it can be used for testing.

It should be no problem. Don't worry about how much it shows under Windows. As long as there is 4GB, it's okay.

Under MS-DOS 7.1 + JRDrivers(XMGR/UIDEJR/RDISK) 09/06/09 + SHCDX33D, RDISK.SYS /S2047 is okay. In MSD, it shows 1.3GB XMS remaining

RDISK is now a .COM file, loadable by CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC. The /: switch for RDISK is added to use any free drive letter when loaded through AUTOEXEC or later. The RDISKON program is added. The UIDE CD/DVD handling of VDS errors is corrected. XMGR and UIDEJR remain unchanged (only re - dated).
