Everyone has been paying attention to the problem you encountered, but now you're bringing up the issue of making a GHOST recovery CD, which is quite disappointing. At least, you should first tell others where your problem was and how you solved it. It's not in vain that everyone cared, and it's also meaningful for others who encounter the same problem.

Your current approach is quite annoying.

1. Is your DOS boot disk version 6.22 or something else? Version 6.22 doesn't recognize FAT32 (not FAT, FAT can only be up to 2.1G), so it has no relation to 40G partitions or 160G hard drives.
2. Since your 1G 71084A can recognize, the problem is simple. You can use arj or rar (versions 2.9 and earlier) to compress or split the target file, and you can complete the backup in one time (最多 two times) at most.
PS: Since the machine where you store the 1.09G file may not necessarily have enough free space, you may need to point the source parameter to the disk and path of the 1.09G and the target parameter to the disk of the 71084A when using arj or rar.
BTW: Remember to format the 1G Diamond hard drive to FAT. FAT32 is meaningless for it and can only cause more compatibility issues.
3. Early machines didn't support LBA48. According to the current hard drives on the market, the maximum support is up to 120G (theoretically supports below 137G).

First, it may be that the DOS 6.2 version is too low to recognize the large hard disk. Second, the DOS version above 7.0 can normally view the F drive. Third, since the optical drives of current machines are all four-wire, the DOS version above 7.0 can simulate the A drive to drive the optical drive. I don't know the reason why it just can't read some additional programs or files in the CD. Four-wire CD-ROM? That's a SATA CD-ROM, and there's probably no driver under DOS.
