What software did you use to format D E F into FAT32? In XP, FAT32 can only be formatted up to 32GB at most.

DOS's fdisk and format also have poor support for super large FAT32 partitions. It is recommended to use a dedicated partitioning software to partition and format FAT32 partitions larger than 32GB
