I don't have an environment with XP + IE6 right now. I tried it under Win2000 + IE6, and the Tibetan characters are boxes and not displayed.

This is the difference between Windows XP and Vista. Vista has better support for Tibetan, with a dedicated font to display Tibetan, namely "Microsoft Himalaya". The quality of this font in displaying Tibetan is better than Arial Unicode MS.

Himalaya Input Method contains the font file himalaya.ttf. After downloading and installing it, you can see the effect similar to that displayed by fujianabc on floor 14.

The second line in the following blue box is Arial Unicode MS, and the third line is Microsoft Himalaya.
(Arial Unicode MS is not default in Vista)
