pusofalse, your code really works well. But if later I want to define something other than starting with 5, what should I do? Right now it is 5-
If it's the letter H- in the code above, which part should be changed?

Change if "!var:~,1!" equ "5" (
to if "!var:~,1!" equ "H" (
If case does not matter
if /i "!var:~,1!" equ "h" (

How come it looks like just changing one H did it!!! I'm too much of a newbie, I'll study hard. If I want the minimum value, then what? I mean displaying 2 at the same time, one minimum and one maximum
Tried it on a 100MB text file, core CPU Q6600, it takes half an hour hehe
