There are two reasons: 1. It takes time during startup (booting from a floppy disk is already very slow, and then adding this!!!!) 2. It takes up floppy disk space (a floppy disk!! every KB is precious~~) The other reasons have already been mentioned by others, so I won't repeat them.

That LOGO is really creative~ I suggest changing the white in the middle background a bit, then it would look even better.

Doesn't Windows have that blue-sky-and-white-clouds background? How about we change it to a DOS-specific background?
