Vista still has several years to go before it reaches the maturity of today's XP and becomes popular for home use. Every time Microsoft releases a new version of the operating system, I always feel that it's simply playing with users' security. If you look at the descriptions of some patches, they will give you a big scare. So, if I have to use it, I'd rather choose a safe guarantee with an ugly interface than flashy buttons and windows full of errors and vulnerabilities.
