MiniWin3.2 boot disk looks like it should work. But I can't edit in File Manager: copy, delete, format all seem unusable; only Notepad can edit and save to the hard disk.
What is our goal! When the system partition on the computer is dead, the most basic means of rescuing files on the hard disk are copying and deleting! Who would still use MiniWin3.2 then! And besides, if after booting into MiniWin3.2 you still have to do copying and deleting under DOS, then what is the meaning of this boot disk! (I have a dual-boot system with 2000 and XP, and it's protected with Restore Wizard). Of course, maybe I just haven't found out how to use MiniWin3.2 yet.

After expanding it, it's 1.48M, but one floppy disk is only 1.44M. How can it possibly fit?

Is it possible under Windows 3.2 to use only the ndis2 driver to get LAN functionality?
MSLANMAN.DOS does not support long filenames after connecting to the network. But the File Manager in win 3.2 does support long filenames, and it can also see shared long filenames or directories.
I looked again. Only when long filename support is not loaded can files be moved and copied. If that's the case then it's a bit inconvenient. The main thing is that I hope it has LAN functionality and can display long filenames.
