levels(These levels.dat files were found by me online before 2005, they should be complete):
Copy any one dat file to the game directory and rename it to levels.dat

Cracking procedure (after cracking it you can skip the potion-drinking level; if you want to play that potion-drinking level, change the EB on line 1 back to 75.
):
Use unp to unpack prince.exe of each version, then use UE to modify it:
1.0 version:
610F: change 75 to EB
6219: change 75 to EB
65D1: this is the level reached by Ctrl+A
1D46A: the consecutive 14 bytes are the enemy hit points for each level
1.3 version:
561F: change 75 to EB
5731: change 75 to EB
1D35C: the consecutive 14 bytes are the enemy hit points for each level
1.4 version:
5ACB: change 75 to EB
5BDD: change 75 to EB
19D06: the consecutive 14 bytes are the enemy hit points for each level



If your computer feels slow when playing Prince of Persia under DOSBOX0.6x, then don't use 1.0. Just play 1.3 or 1.4 directly under win9x or pure DOS, they have sound too. Remember to run setup.exe for configuration first. 1.3 can change the display mode, with 4/16/256 colors to choose from, and the sound effects also change, using electronic instrument simulation, relatively soft, suitable for girls. (Under DOSBOX0.6x, the sound effects are not simulated with electronic instruments.)

Under DOS mode in win9x, or in a pure DOS environment, or under DOSBOX0.6x, if you run version 1.0 first and exit, then run version 1.4, a problem will appear:
After entering level 1, the Prince will keep crouching and not move. You have to wait until he lands and then press Ctrl+A, repeat 3 times before he can move normally, but the sound has problems, a lot of it can't be heard. When the Prince dies you also can't press Shift or R to play again, you can only press Ctrl+A or Ctrl+R to start over. Press Ctrl+L to enter another level, and the Prince can move normally, but the other problems still remain.
If you run setup.exe for configuration after exiting the game, an error prompt will appear. It seems the problem is with "Sound Device".
If you run version 1.3 first and exit (without having run version 1.0 before), then run version 1.4, the Prince also keeps crouching and not moving in level 1, but after pressing Ctrl+A or Ctrl+R to start over, everything returns to normal.

Although I can't solve this problem, it can be avoided. As long as you don't play version 1.0 and then continue with version 1.4 in the same DOS environment, it'll be fine. (Or maybe this problem is unnecessary, because most players just play directly with version 1.0 or version 1.4, and very few have the habit I do of opening a DOS window first and then doing DOS-related operations inside it.)
