First create a normal file, then rename it to..\ using WINRAR

Then use DEL short filename.

Files without extensions? If you have installed PDOS 6.22, you will find a file named README.

It is not possible to create a file with a file name of. Renaming with winrar is possible, but when extracting, there will be an access denied. The current directory in cmd is also represented by.

Release Notes for RenamePlus

RenamePlus is an enhanced renaming tool that can rename file names that cannot be modified by regular renaming operations, such as renaming files whose names end with "." or are Windows reserved file names.



For example: If there is a file named "C:\Sample.TXT." on the disk, but the regular renaming operation will fail and report that the target file is not found. This is because the file name contains an illegal character "." at the end, causing the Win32 API to fail during renaming. RenamePlus is an enhanced renaming tool that can solve such problems.



Usage:

RenamePlus C:\Sample.TXT. C:\Sample.TXT
