Just one more question, can this driver replace SMARTDRV? Is its stability better than SMARTDRV? If it is better, why doesn't the moderator's super boot disk use it? Thanks

My super MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk can be a dual-boot of PC-CACHE and SMARTDRV (that is, let the user choose one or neither).

Found a problem. When using PC-CACHE.COM, pc-ext2x.ovl, and pc-wnerr.ovl under pure DOS in XP , entering PC/sizext:8192 prompts that the pc-ext2.ovl file is missing. I renamed pc-ext2x.ovl to pc-ext2.ovl and it can load normally, but it freezes when trying to copy files, tried many times and the same situation occurs, don't understand, , strange

Then, may I ask which version of this pure DOS is it? I used PC - CACHE under pure MS - DOS 7.10 without any problems.

The following is a quote from Wengier on 2003-5-28 8:50:05:Because I originally installed 98 and had the BOOTSECT.DOS file. I didn't follow the tutorial exactly because the tutorial said using was too complicated. I was afraid of having to reinstall XP if I messed it up. This is how I specifically did the dual boot: I overwrote the files in the system disk with the COMMAND.COM, IO.SYS, and MSDOS.SYS files from the 98 boot floppy, and then modified the BOOT.INI file. Now it's very convenient to enter DOS. I don't know what the current DOS version is. I estimate it's 7.1.
Then may I ask which version of this pure DOS is it? I used PC-CACHE under pure MS-DOS 7.10 without any problems.
