Boss, I can only write a little simple VBS (basically all copied from the web and modified); database conversion depends on the database type; mdb2xls2xml makes my head spin
No matter what, as long as it uses VBS I strongly support it, since the vast majority of what 3rd-party tools can do can also be done through VBS.
As for conversion between database types, writing it simply might not exceed 50 lines of code. If needed I can write a few conversion functions for you. You can also refer to the related VBS scripts in this section; I remember I posted two of them.

At present the functions for searching/adding contacts, viewing all contact data, and deleting contacts are complete; the function for modifying contact data is still being tested.
