First, replying to post #15, my opinion is: not only can the chatter section contain these things, even posts from the entire DOS forum could be put in the chatter section. It includes everything, with no boundaries. It's just like the subject "Chinese language"—it also includes everything. Math, English, physics, chemistry, history, biology, and any knowledge in the world all fall within the scope of Chinese language.

Now replying to post #14, it's especially meaningful to answer this question to you. wengier's definition of chatterhttp://www2.zzu.edu.cn/ie/newdos/dispbbs.asp?boardID=7&ID=12,http://www2.zzu.edu.cn/ie/newdos/dispbbs.asp?boardID=7&ID=2255 If this were the ISO forum or some other forum, maybe I wouldn't say this. In fact I also like chatting and off-topic posting, and I also like looking at PLMM. My first post here was made there, and I even said that being able to upload large pictures on the ISO forum makes it look livelyhttp://www2.zzu.edu.cn/ie/newdos/dispbbs.asp?boardID=9&ID=1195 But the speed here is obviously slower than ISO, right? I went to "Feedback & User Exchange" and took a look, and there should be quite a few posts reporting slow speed, right! And in fact that's how it is! Sometimes when browsing halfway through, it suddenly says "This page cannot be displayed." Of course I know the forum can't be blamed for that! But I still want to say to everyone here: other than text and software, don't post pictures or Flash anymore, it slows down the connection speed (unless necessary). If you want to see the content people are talking about, just search casually online and there will definitely be plenty of it. There's no need to look at it here. That's my opinion.
Also, for the stability of the forum, everyone can do better. Please look at these two examples.
http://www2.zzu.edu.cn/ie/newdos/dispbbs.asp?boardID=8&ID=1404 (the anxious person
http://www2.zzu.edu.cn/ie/newdos/dispbbs.asp?boardID=7&ID=157(the "20 tendons lost 8 tendons" one that should have been deleted) (Just five minutes after posting, when I edited this post I found that thread had been deleted!!? So it can't be seen now)

In fact, everyone has times when they're in a hurryhttp://www2.zzu.edu.cn/ie/newdos/dispbbs.asp?boardID=9&ID=1237 Although the first person's behavior was wrong, it's understandable. The second person was also wrong, but I think that post should have been deleted long ago. Is it forgiven just because it was posted in the chatter section? Even if any kind of post can be made in the chatter section, this kind of garbage post still shouldn't be allowed!!! Of course, I absolutely don't mean to blame wengier or the moderators. You can't attend to every little detail. My own work is different from a moderator's, but somewhat similar, so I completely understand how hard the moderators work. So I hope everyone will help out and stop posting meaningless posts!

I have a suggestion: add a "Ten-Thousand-Urgent" section, with a four-hour time limit. That means once four hours have passed since the post was made, it is declared invalid. (Of course, everyone can specify the valid time themselves, but it must really be an urgent matter before it can be posted in that section! That way urgent posts won't get buried by other posts)

Who says posting pictures will definitely slow down the connection speed!
Also, our site isn't slow at all at least,
I use a dial-up modem, and I don't feel it's slow!
Maybe the person in the post above is using broadband,
and the support for certain ISPs isn't all that good!
I've run into that in internet cafes,
more than once!
Also, pictures on a webpage are displayed last,
before that, the text you need to read has already been shown!
It absolutely won't affect your browsing!
And if you don't want to look at pictures,
then use OPERA to browse!
You can turn off image browsing in it to speed things up!
ie6.0 has the same option too!

The forum is like a big classroom, and this place is like the 10-minute break between classes, a place to relax for a while.

Don't agree... too casual, and it will affect public order...!
弄花香满衣,掬水月在手。
明月鹭鸟飞, 芦花白马走。
我自一过后,野渡现横舟。
青云碧空在,净瓶水不流。
