Most people probably have WinRAR installed on their machines. WinRAR comes with a command - line version called RAR, which supports packing files that are earlier than or later than a specific point in time, and then can automatically delete the source files. Then, you can use the delete command in the batch file to delete the generated RAR archive, and that's it.
