upx -l *.* can show which files have been compressed, so you won't have to worry about forgetting!/
When encountering files that cannot be compressed, you can try:
upx --force --best source_file destination_file
But some software cannot be executed this way

Damn, after I compressed with UPX, many programs could not run normally, especially programs with a relatively high compression ratio! Shit, what kind of garbage is this~

You can't blame UPX. Some programs cannot be compressed, especially SYS, FORMAT, FDISK and EDIT provided by Microsoft itself. General programs usually have no problem being compressed with UPX.

Programs such as SYS, FORMAT, FDISK, EDIT, etc. are not completely impossible to compress; they just cannot be compressed with UPX. For example, FDISK and EDIT can use COMPREXE for executable file compression, while SYS and FORMAT can be compressed as executable files by the *special edition* of aPack.

These software tools were all used many years ago. Many of them have not had new versions, and long ago they were already archived on CDs. Now that there are USB drives, CDs, and PXE, tools like this are still not very necessary.
