If you boot into 98, of course it's the GUI. For NTFS, just run NTFS4DOS.

Extract the ISO, and run Grub.exe under DOS.
But it's best that Grub.exe is in the same directory as menu.lst.
I haven't tried it, it should work. You can give it a try.

If Grub.exe is version 0.97, then the content in menu.lst may need corresponding adjustments.

map --mem (hd0,0)/98.img(fd0)
map --hook
chainloader (fd0)+1
rootnoverify (fd0)
