Hehe! DOS booting seems to require making three setup floppies, which is rather complicated. If the CD can boot directly, that saves a lot of effort!
Of course, whether to use the "original edition" or not depends on personal preference. I just feel it has too much stuff added into it! I prefer relatively pure, or original versions, so I can add whatever software packages I want myself!

But I feel there are very few NT downloads online now, and almost all of them are dead links.
I don't know where I can get the original version of NT to download,

Also, does nt4.0 have advanced power management? It can't automatically power off.

What's the use of collecting these old versions of OS?

Vista has been talked about for so many years and really kept people waiting, but now I hear that this year it's going to break its promise again, and the retail version has been pushed back to early next year.

Then just go straight to LINUX, it definitely won't be WINDOWS. You can't learn anything with Windows.
