Test environment:

Software: PC-DOS 7.1 MS-DOS 8.0

Hardware: EPoX 4B4E Intel845E supports USB 2.0 high-speed transmission mode


The devload.com in the attachment on the first floor is version 3.14. After my test, using the "version 3.14" to load the USB driver will cause a system crash under the above conditions! It seems that the new version of the software has problems instead!

As fujianabc mentioned, it is suggested not to try under the so-called MS-DOS 8.0, because its compatibility is already quite problematic. The compatibility of PC-DOS 7.1 is not very good either, which is similar to the so-called MS-DOS 8.0.

In addition, I tried loading USBASPI/DI1000DD with DEVLOAD 3.15 last year (the download address is in the Download Room), and no problems were found.

I passed the test with version 3.12. There are two types of USB drives:
One is aigo's 2.0 Smart Stick 128M;
The second is aigo's Mini King Backup II 128M

Well, that's actually just one of the cases where WinDOS8 didn't live up to its name. Even the boot prompt shows WIN instead of DOS. It's even less useful than FreeDOS.
