There is a trueimg_standard.exe inside it
ATI 9.0 B 2@...

I installed the 2337 version dated 2006-03-10, and there is no trueimg_standard.exe you mentioned. Can you provide the download link?

The operation instructions on floor 13 are compiled and ported according to the manual instructions of the English 8.xx workstation version. When TIDOS uses file names, the " symbol is not needed. This is corrected here (corrected on floor 13).

In addition, can you upload the two.EXEs you mentioned that can be used under pure DOS?
Thanks in advance!

Also, can...

Yes.
But after uploading 3 times, it was all reported:
The attachment file cannot be saved to the server. It may be a problem with the directory attribute setting. Please contact the administrator.

Both the 1000K RAR and the 800K RAR are like this.

I have uploaded to my network disk.

There are too many downloaded software, and I can't remember the download address.
But I have uploaded it to my web disk.
Acronis True Image V9.0 Build 2337 XP.rar
The final XP is added by me. It can't be used in 2003.

I tested TIDOS 1.14 MB (1,200,447 bytes) on the actual machine on 2005.12.16
1-1 Part: Used space 4GB
tidos /create /partition:1-1 /filename:d:\back.tib /compression:9
It took about 30 minutes and the backup was successful! After completion, there are 3 image files back1.tib back2.tib back3.tib (2.08 GB (2,240,627,069 bytes))

tidos /deploy /partition:1-1 /filename:d:\back1.tib
After completion, restarted and the recovery was successful!

Thank you for the test!

Is your hard drive SATA?

In addition, in my test, using compression:9 does not reduce the volume much, but greatly extends the time, so later I all use the default value 3, or simply remove it.

Just tried it again with friend xusen's command.
My C drive uses 1.3G, with compression:3, compression took 2 minutes and 10 seconds. The TIB volume is 630M.

Restored completely using friend xusen's command.
Still didn't succeed. The image file is reported as bad. It seems it's the compatibility issue of this TIDOS.

I have downloaded all kinds of TI compressed packages and tested them on a real machine. The feelings are as follows:

1. I currently have a total of 3 character - interface TIDOS.EXE, 800 - plus KB, 900 - plus KB and 1100 - plus KB. There is no difference in version (can't check the version number after decompression and can't be used again). The compression speed and the volume of the compressed image package are exactly the same. Compared with ghost/pqImage, the compression ratio is the highest; compared among itself, the greater the compression ratio (0 - 9), the time-consuming increases by a factor of two. The building - wglwx landlord is right. Usually, the default value of 3 is enough, and at most 5 is used, otherwise the time is too long.

2. There are 2 TI.EXE that support mouse operation and have a WinXP window - style graphic interface. The one over 3M is in Simplified Chinese interface and needs XMS/EMS support; the one over 4M is in English interface and has rich online help information (in English), and requires DPMI support.

3. The.TIB file compressed by TIDOS.EXE gives an error when browsing the image in the window version of ATI: the image is damaged. Have other netizens encountered the same situation?

I haven't.
The TIB made by TIDOS can be well restored in the graphical interface of DOS and the graphical interface of XP.

I often use the one of 1100K.

Thank you for doing so many detailed tests.

Wait, this translation seems off. Let's start over. The original Chinese text's translation here is a bit messy. Let's do it properly:

3. The.TIB file compressed by TIDOS.EXE, when browsing the image in the window version of ATI, an error occurred: the image is damaged. I wonder if other netizens have encountered the same situation?

Hmm, this isn't working. Let's start fresh. The correct translation should be:

3. The.TIB file compressed by TIDOS.EXE, when browsing the image in the window version of ATI, an error occurred: the image is damaged. I wonder if other netizens have encountered the same situation?

This is really bad translation. Let's start anew. The proper translation:

But wait, the original user's Chinese may have a wrong translation. Let's do it right:

Okay, maybe the initial Chinese translation is a wrong translation. Let's do it correctly:

3. The.TIB file compressed by TIDOS.EXE, when browsing image in window version of ATI, an error occurred: the image is damaged. I wonder if other netizens have encountered the same situation?

This is very poor translation. Let's start over with correct translation:

I didn't.
The TIB made by TIDOS can be well restored in the graphical interface of DOS and the graphical interface of XP.

I often use the one of 1100K.

Thank you for doing so many detailed tests.

I want to ask the owner how to extract the DOS graphical interface of V9.1? The image backed up by V9.1 cannot be used by V9.0.

I haven't extracted the DOS graphical interface of V9.1!

If it refers to the TI.DOS software used under DOS, then it is available after installing the ATI software. No extraction is needed.

Of course, it can also be downloaded online.

There are risks in using this software. When restoring, data may be lost inexplicably. Once I was going to restore the quantity to the C drive, but after completion, it actually deleted the C drive, restored the data to the D drive and activated the extended partition. I really can't understand that my TIB file is also on the D drive.

The second time was even stranger. It had read-write errors at the beginning, and as a result, the partition table was lost. After that, I rebuilt the partition table with DISKGEN and then it worked normally when executed again. I wrote the command into a batch file, so there won't be different commands for the two executions, and I didn't restart the machine between the two operations.

Both operations were done on Lenovo machines. I don't know if it's because of incompatibility with Lenovo machines that caused this.

In addition, there is one thing I want to ask: after incremental backup, how to select the restore point? Every time during restoration, it restores to the last state, and there's no choice. I have to rename the subsequent files to restore to the initial state.
