My Thoughts on the Forum Redesign (Everyone, please speak up actively) - China DOS Union Forum

Can forum posts be sorted by the last update time? It's convenient for understanding the latest situations

I think the search function is not very convenient to use.

Why does this forum of the new DOS era choose DVBBS?
Using DVBBS is really too bad. The opening speed is unacceptably slow, and the search function is very weak. Without a good search function, the role of the forum is reduced by ten times.
Also, the advertisement header on each page is too large. Often, you open one screen and can't see any posts until you drag the scrollbar down. (The top is all advertisement headers.) Everyone doesn't come to this website anymore, and would they still not know the URL of this website?
Strongly suggest that the forum be redesigned, and using a PHP forum like PHPBB is better.
I really like DOS, and I also use a large number of programs developed under DOS in my current products. But the form of this forum is really annoying. (Annoyed but have to come, even more annoying.)

The forum is certainly not run by people from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan (of course, there are also people from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan participating in the forum), and currently the server is also in the Chinese mainland region. As for the issue of using some traditional Chinese characters (that is, standard Chinese characters), specific discussions can be seen in the relevant discussions in the "Moderator Announcement" section.

Why not all use simplified Chinese characters?

No need to say not to use simplified characters. You can post in simplified or traditional characters, which is a personal preference and freedom.
