The English version of Win3.x can be reduced to about 1MB. The IO.SYS in the MS-DOS 7.1 boot disk I made has been modified and is 125,960 bytes in size, not the IO.SYS in Win98 (224,150 bytes).

Do you think one should use the English version with a Chinese character platform added externally or the Chinese version? If the Chinese version is used, what is the minimum size it can be reduced to?

If it's the Chinese version, then at least a 2.88M floppy disk is needed. It's also installed with MS-DOS 7.10 (because its compatibility is the best). The external Chinese platform may be larger.

Unless using a 2.88M floppy disk, cannot support Chinese. The MiniWin3.x (MS-DOS 7.10 + WFW 3.11) I made last time is an English sample, right?

Where can I download MiniWin3.x (MS-DOS 7.10 + WFW 3.11)?
How about making a 2.88 Chinese version of WIN3.X with WINIMAGE and then uploading it for everyone to try and see which one is better.

Also! romdos, I can't use ghost! In pcdos,! pq6.0, ghost2000! most software can be used! But can't use badcopy for dos!

Yes, rom-DOS has some limitations. The Chinese - language partition software spfdisk is unimpeded, while diskgen cannot run on floppy disks.

I have also made that, and it can boot. But my positioning is that whether it's on a floppy disk or an optical disc, it's always for emergency use, so it doesn't matter if the drive letter changes. Moreover, NTFS can be read with DOS or Win3.x, but I haven't tried writing to it.

I have an ISO of Windows Server 2003 VOL&RETAIL 6in1, which has several floppy disk images, about 10M. I think the original one is not good, so I want to remake it. 10M is very luxurious for DOS! Wengier's things have given me great help.

"Diskgen can't run on floppy disks" --- This conclusion is too hasty. I don't know whether it means it can't boot or can't partition. I have no problems running Diskgen on floppy disks of ROM-DOS to perform various operations!
