Here's the situation: I'm using Windows to get online while debugging lynx at the same time, so the network itself shouldn't be the problem.
I only found one piece of information on lynx online. It doesn't explain wattcp。cfg in much detail.
Could it be that my lynx syntax is wrong? Is the command for browsing a website with lynx really lynx -cfg=c:\aaa\lynx.cfg www.163.com?

The DOS version of Lynx can only run under pure DOS, not in a Win9x DOS window, unless you use something like NDIS2PKT, but that's quite troublesome.

What I find strange is that there shouldn't be any problem at all, yet I just can't get onto the network. Lately I've been sitting in front of the computer experimenting for 4 hours every day, and my eyes are going blurry :）

Thanks, moderator. I'm online in DOS right now. It feels very strange. The reason I couldn't get online before was that I had set myip to the DHCP server address. Once I changed it to the IP assigned to me, it worked.

I still have one little question: if you're going online in pure DOS, you can't use the ipconfig command, which means you can't obtain the IP assigned to you by the network. In that case, you can't configure the wattcp file at all. What should be done in that situation?
