My View on Chinese Boot Disks: - China DOS Union Forum - China DOS Union

Sigh! At this moment I no longer have any intention of uploading it. From when I first made this post up to now, I have already been holding on with difficulty. I'll just say a few points; those who understand will understand: (I believe someone will soon know how it was done)

1. The memory optimization was already mentioned above as being based on moderator Wengier's 7.10 boot disk.
2. The method of creating the interface was made with reference to related posts on .
3. All the Chinese-localized software on the boot disk was collected online (except that I couldn't find a Chinese-localized version of VC, so I localized that one myself).
4. The boot disk's logo screen is also very nice:

After I made this boot disk, under normal circumstances if someone asks me to look at a computer fault, I only need to bring this one with me. Some of my friends liked it very much when they saw it and copied it away, so being told it is "flashy but impractical" is really saddening.

Chinese boot disks are generally only suitable for beginners who are just getting started; experienced users don't need Chinese localization either! If you want to show off, then localize all the English completely, without loading a Chinese-language platform.

Personally, I still feel practicality should come first. Especially under DOS, it would be more useful if the help files could be made into Chinese.

What everyone is making are emergency boot disks! What w made should be a system boot disk!

Very well written, but is there a link to download it and try it out? If no one has tried it, how can we know whether it is good or bad? Please, experts, point out a download path.

Seeing Chinese on a computer is itself a helpless thing!
