Once again, I would like to thank the moderator for the enthusiastic help, and the problem has been solved unexpectedly.
Originally, there were issues with these three DOS small software on my machine, but when I ran them on the unit's machine (Lenovo brand computer) with the second CONFIG.SYS configuration, there were no problems at all. After careful consideration, there wasn't much difference. The only difference was that the conventional memory after MEM on my machine was 638KB, while on the unit's computer it was the normal 640KB. The poster is a bit confused. Where did those 2KB of conventional memory go? Different hardware configurations may cause the computer to occupy different memory address spaces during startup, but can it also cause the conventional memory displayed by DOS to be different?
I just joined this forum. I found that the moderator is a warm-hearted person. I have read many of the moderator's great works in the forum these past few days, which has greatly benefited me. I find that I have already fallen in love with this forum.
