OK, thank you Wengier. But there is one problem: when rebooting to DOS, after loading Ichinit, entering Mpxplay prompts "Stub failed to find Dos/4G extender." and cannot play. But the Mpxplay 1.53 d I downloaded doesn't have such a problem. I don't know why.

The MPXPLAY enhanced version (+DLL) I mentioned above requires the DOS4G extender to run, and it just said that this file was not found. DOS4G can be downloaded here:

Originally it was an SB PCI 128 sound card, and in the BIOS, the Intel integrated AC97 sound card was disabled. Now on a whim, I tried it. In the BIOS, I enabled the Intel integrated AC97 sound card, so there are two sound cards! In DOS, after loading the SB PCI 128 sound card driver as usual, it seems everything is normal. When running MAME, you can select the sound card, and both AC97 or SB PCI 128 are normal. But when running MPXPLAY 1.53, it preferentially recognizes the SB PCI 128. If you must use AC97, it seems you need to not load the SB PCI 128....

In XP, it seems to preferentially use the SB PCI. When you want to use AC97, you can disable the SB PCI...

Having two sound cards is fun.
