Editing a post and editing an attachment leave different traces of modification!

Mine is also like this. I have IE and Maxthon 2 in my browser. Originally, my default browser was Maxthon 2. Later, I felt it was inconvenient and changed the default browser to IE, but it didn't work. When I open a link, it still opens with Maxthon 2 by default. I have already clicked "Check if it is the default browser on startup" in the settings of IE. But it's still not working.
