I ran into this problem too.
How do I run it under 6.22?
I’ve read a lot of posts and a lot of articles, but the problem still hasn’t made any real progress toward a solution.
xmsdsk doesn’t work either, maybe I’m still doing something wrong

Obviously the settings for LASTDRIVE or something like that are wrong. Try first booting with the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made, then run the XMSDSK and PAL commands:
