When Windows 98 is booted, press F8, select 5 (that is, Command prompt only), then press Shift F8 to confirm step by step, and do not select anything (that is, select N for all). At this time, when booting to DOS, the default path is C:\windows;c:\windows\command. My question is: How to add other paths when DOS is booted (not implemented by Path in Autoexec.bat)?

Is it related to "boot scripts"?

I first installed XP (on drive D), and then installed DOS 7.1 (on drive C). Dear experts, how can I directly apply the path "C:\dos71;c:\fox;c:\fpd26,c:\ucdos" after booting into DOS 71?

Regarding how to automatically call autoexec.bat at XP startup. After checking, the login script of XP must use a relative path (relative to the user configuration path), so this solution is not feasible for the time being...

What does this sentence mean? : )

Classic. I'll continue to take a look when I'm free.
