There are many compression tools, such as RAR, ACE, CAB, ZIP, etc., each with its own characteristics. Now RAR and CAB formats are used more. One advantage of.CAB is that it is the format used by the Microsoft WINDOWS system itself, and the decompression tool is provided by default on their boot disks - because the compressed package must be completed by the decompression tool..CAB files cannot be decompressed automatically! Unless made into.EXE.
