My Windows can't boot now, so I can only go online under DOS (including posting here with the Lynx browser, etc.) and extract files, etc.

Now ZIP can be extracted normally. As for the memory issue, you can use some parameters of DUSE to save memory usage, such as the DRIVES parameter, etc. Also, NTFSDOS has never used more than 200K of memory on my computer.

Because ntfsdos uses too much memory, I replaced it with readntfs. Compared with sfdisk, I like diskgen more; one of its functions, rebuilding the partition table, is very useful. It's just a pity that it doesn't have a boot management option. So I replaced it with diskgen. It's only used in the virtual drive, though; if you want to back up the partition table and so on, please copy the relevant files out of the virtual drive.
Added FIX27, RI, and other memory management software. Added a JO file. Fixed a few flaws in the batch files. If you want to clear the 113k of memory used by xzl and dfkc, at the prompt run RI/cls.

But JO.SYS is useless on my system, because my computer boots from the hard disk first, and only starts drive A when I choose "Boot from floppy" in the operating system boot menu. So choosing again is unnecessary.

Question for Master Rushi: when viewing documents with the READ【or LIST.EXE】on your boot disk, how can I make the text wrap automatically like in Windows, instead of having to use the left and right keys to view it, which is rather troublesome? What parameter do I need to type? Thanks.

Please press F1 and check the help. If you still can't figure it out, ask the webmaster. It's from his MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk. It seems to be part of the list suite, and it's not perfect.
It has already been replaced in the new version, using TYD, which has editing functions.

umbpci is incompatible with AMD CPUs. AMD users, please delete the corresponding line in the config file.

That's right, UMBPCI does not support the SiS 735 motherboard in my AMD Athlon computer. Precisely because of this, the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made uses a dual-boot method with EMM386 and UMBPCI, with EMM386 as the default option.

For reasons everyone knows, floppy disk space is limited. So it's impossible for one tiny boot disk to include everything.
Therefore, when making a boot disk, the first thing is to define its purpose: antivirus, or networking, or decryption, or recovery... only then is it easier to begin. Just like writing an essay, you must first have a topic.
