Just change je(84) to jne(85) at offset 28DC6 using HIEW. Note that there are a CMP and a CALL above and below respectively, and this je is the key judgment point. Open the attachment

The cracked version of USBMASS.EXE can't drive my USB 1.1 flash drive. Is it that the command format is incorrect? The ones like aspidisk.sys and other drivers can already be recognized!

If USBMASS doesn't work, don't use it. Just use the combination of USBASPI.SYS + ASPIDISK.SYS, which is really good.

USBMASS is the same as DUSE in that it does not support flash drives, including USB drives. USBASPI does support them.

May I ask why I often get a system crash when using USBASPI.SYS + ASPIDISK.SYS? Sometimes it crashes when detecting USB devices, and sometimes it crashes when assigning drive letters?

Upstairs, there are several different versions of USBASPI. You can try the latest version (2.20). For ASPIDISK, you can also try alternatives like DI1000DD.

I haven't been here for a long time, and as soon as I came, I saw something good.
I have tried my two USB flash drives (Saise, Teclast Cool Flash) and a self-installed active hard drive (the hard drive enclosure brand is "Tailai"

, all can be normally recognized and assigned drive letters, and the reading is normal. These three disks were tested one by one with USBMASS (without any parameters), DIR G:, USBMASS/UL. There was no restart of the computer in the middle, and USBMASS could normally mount and unmount these active disks. It's really a good thing.
I also have a USB2.0 hard drive enclosure, but unfortunately there is no spare hard drive at hand to connect and test it. I estimate that the recognition will be fine. Whether it can reach the USB2.0 speed, I hope friends will continue to test it.
The friends in front are really amazing. It seems that they are all cracking old hands. I admire them! But the author of this program is not as good at encryption as our country's programmers. He just changed a jump to crack it.
