But basically similar stories happen on every forum.
It's better if everyone looks at problems and discusses them a bit more calmly.

To be honest, I'm not qualified to be a moderator. One reason is my limited ability, another is that I myself don't have that much time, energy, and money to maintain this this forum. I'd rather just be an ordinary member. Then I wouldn't feel ashamed either. I haven't been here for a long time. That day when boss wengier saw me, I knew she was still painfully holding up this forum. She still hadn't removed me, this unqualified moderator, and I felt extremely ashamed.

I very much agree with what boss MYS said: "On the other hand, sometimes you don't necessarily know the solution to every problem, and there are also things you may not remember too clearly at the time, so you can only be somewhat brief."

This is a place for some DOS enthusiasts to exchange and learn. Skill levels are high and low, but that's all relative; it's not as if moderators understand everything. Maybe moderators have a bit more experience than average people, but they don't have every kind of experience either. They can only offer some suggestions and some experience-based advice, but if they run into a problem they've never encountered before—especially one you've encountered but they haven't—it's very hard for them to help you much. For example, if you ask me about running DOS on an NB, I don't know. Because I don't have an NB myself. And if you ask me about USB, I also have no experience, because I still don't have any USB devices. (Luckily some moderators do have experience in that area, hehe...)

Also, with DOS, there are a lot of things that you only understand after trying them yourself. If you bring me a problem, maybe I know the answer, but I may not remember clearly how to do it in detail, so I can only give you a comparatively brief answer and point you in a direction. If you want me to explain it in detail, maybe I'd have to try it step by step myself before I could explain it clearly. What if I don't know the answer? Then I can only guess at a way to solve the problem. Whether it works or not can only be known after trying it. A fairly typical kind of problem is when someone often asks about autoexec.bat batch file issues, asking whether they can add this command or remove that command. If I don't try it, how would I know? If you ask me for the answer, I can only tell you how I would go about finding the answer. The method is to try it yourself. The problem is yours; if you don't try, and just ask other people and want others to test it and then tell you—do others have that obligation?

I only hope everyone can happily learn together and improve together.
If you're posting to ask for help, be careful not to spam threads wildly. Threads like that will definitely be deleted; there is no argument to be made. Call it democracy or dictatorship if you want, but actually no forum would tolerate that kind of thread.
