I downloaded msdos710 and used vfloppy to make a dual boot (win2000). As a result, there was a situation where the hard disk partition was not recognized after booting with msdos710 (this happened on both machines). I don't know if this is an individual case or a common situation. Please ask for advice from all the experts.

A boot made with vfloppy is not called a dual boot, but merely booting DOS with a floppy image. If the hard disk is in NTFS format, this is a normal phenomenon. The situation where DOS is installed through the MS-DOS 7.10 installer and coexists with WinXP is called a dual boot. |

The C drives of the two machines I use are indeed both NTFS partitions. Do you mean that msdos710 cannot be used on a machine whose system partition is NTFS?
Then why can the boot disk made by Win98 work? In addition, if a floppy disk is used to boot a machine whose system partition is an NTFS partition, can it normally recognize each partition? |

The DOS boot disk made with Win98 also cannot read and write NTFS partitions, unless some specialized software is used. The DOS boot disk can boot, but whether it supports NTFS hard disk partitions is another matter. |
