loadIso is an outdated tool; it can only function as a virtual CD-ROM drive and cannot boot a computer.
However, in Linux, although you cannot directly boot a computer from an ISO either, the installer can directly read ISO files for installation (it seems the ISO file also needs to be contiguous).
It seems the latest version of GRUB4DOS cannot boot from an ISO either. Would virtualizing the ISO as a CD-ROM work?
