Brother wengier mentioned PC-DOS before, and now has mentioned ROM-DOS. They are both good, and supporting them should not be very difficult. I hope everyone can take another look at whether the NTLDR part of 0.2.0pre works normally. Because this part has been modified, something that previously booted GRUB successfully may now fail to boot.

I also hope someone can test it on the latest systems such as windows 2003, using different file systems like FAT32 and NTFS as the C: drive. Because up to now, no one has clearly said that they successfully booted into GRUB under windows 2003.

If you encounter a failure, please save the MBR and the first 16 sectors of windows NT's C: drive and put them somewhere I can download them.

Budian: I just tested it and found that files like bootgrub and grub.exe are basically normal, and I didn't find any problems with them. Only this new GRLDR file itself seems to have some obvious problems. With files such as bootgrub already updated, I replaced this new GRLDR with the old GRLDR file from last time, and then everything was normal.

Oops, I forgot something again. FreeDOS kernel build 2033 has also been released, but I haven't downloaded it, so I don't know whether the latest grub.exe can run under FreeDOS 2033. If anyone has time, please test it.

Also, I'd like to know: is your C: drive FAT32? Or NTFS? Because that makes a big difference. FAT32 being able to boot does not mean NTFS can boot too.

I use NTFS format, and XP can also boot successfully, great, I don't need to install LILO anymore to install Linux. I have successfully used grub_for_ntldr to boot XteamLinu4.0

Could a Chinese version be made? I don't really know how to use many commands. Chinese prompts might be a bit better.

Chinese would probably be rather difficult, and there isn't much point in it either :）

Supporting i18n internationalization is a huge task, and GNU GRUB does not currently support it.

As for people using both win2003 and an NTFS system, no one has yet said they successfully booted into GRUB. As long as one person reports success, we can release the official version.
