Thank you all for your support! Thank you! This site's support for GRUB for DOS is beyond words. Without everyone's support, development of GRUB for DOS would not have gone so smoothly. Thank you, webmaster wengier.
If a Chinese homepage for GRUB for DOS can be set up on this site, I completely approve and would be very happy. Brother wengier has already set up an English homepage, and I think it is very good, so I won't do another one myself 【actually, I wouldn't do it well】. Then I'll have to trouble brother wengier to take care of it.
Brother wengier mentioned PC-DOS before, and now has mentioned ROM-DOS. They are both good, and supporting them should not be very difficult. It's just a pity that I currently don't have the time and do not plan to do it. I hope there will be an opportunity to do it in the future. If it is done in the future, it will most likely be by improving the detection algorithm to support arbitrary DOS.
Just now on the following page at LINUX Eden I saw someone report a BUG:
http://www.linuxeden.com/download/softdetail.php?softid=1026
I hope everyone can take another look at whether the NTLDR part of 0.2.0pre works normally. Because this part has been modified, something that previously booted GRUB successfully may now fail to boot.
I also hope someone can test it on the latest systems such as windows 2003, using different file systems like FAT32 and NTFS as the C: drive. Because up to now, no one has clearly said that they successfully booted into GRUB under windows 2003.
If you encounter a failure, please save the MBR and the first 16 sectors of windows NT's C: drive and put them somewhere I can download them.
