Your view is too one-sided. Graphical interfaces are not exclusive to Windows, so it doesn't mean that if Linux uses a graphical interface, it becomes Windows. The stability of Linux has been proven by facts. Don't just hear about it, go and try it yourself

Most people comment on Linux without even touching it. Its X-Windows is completely different from Microsoft Windows. The former is just a program on the command line, just a shell. Linux is good for programmers, but I think it can't compare with Unix in terms of servers. But we have to admit that the author Linus is strong. I don't know what Linux is compiled with, C? It seems like 010101 oh.......

Regarding how Linux is, everyone doesn't need to argue so angrily. No matter how good something is, there will be times when it's not accepted. Moreover, Linux and Windows each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Why is the Chinese government vigorously promoting Red Flag Linux? The development of China's information industry must rely on ourselves. Windows has the most users, which means there are also the most hackers attacking it. So, Windows is currently the least secure operating system among those used by users. We advocate freedom, so we oppose Microsoft's monopoly. We should all use our limited knowledge to contribute a little to our motherland and support the national industry! Be proud of our motherland!!!

If being safe means no one uses it, then it's best not to use an operating system and go back to the 1960s and 1970s. Both Win and Lin are not perfect. In short, there were no viruses in the world originally, but when too many people use them, there are viruses... (^_^)

??I didn't say that graphical interfaces are exclusive to Windows either, and I didn't say that if Linux uses a graphical interface it becomes Windows. It's very normal for Linux to use the X - window system, right? But it doesn't mean that Linux is so easy - to - use either?
The concept and processing methods of Linux are still difficult for novices in many aspects, even when using a graphical interface.
For example, you use X, but it doesn't automatically mount...

As for whether I have tried Linux, you are making a conclusion without having tried it yourself and then asking me??

I haven't used Linux and don't know much about it, but I'll install it and have a play. Earlier I read quite a few basic tutorials. I feel that the ease of use of Linux is a bit worse compared to the current mainstream XP operating system. It's almost impossible to make the public accept this unfamiliar thing all of a sudden. Besides, the other day I just helped a few friends fix XP system problems. Let's ask, would someone who can't even handle XP go and install Linux to use?

This topic has been discussed for 2 years and 9 months. I once read an article about the LINUX craze in Computer Fan. Let's talk about the viewpoints:

LINUX has great development space because its source code is open and completely free. Its developers are LINUX experts from all over the world. This is an advantage that the other two major operating systems can't compare with. The price of the genuine WINDOWS is so high that ordinary people can't afford it. The home edition of WINXP is more than 900 and the professional edition is more than 1500. This can buy a pretty good mobile phone.

The biggest opponent of LINUX in China is not Microsoft, but China's piracy industry! If you are using WINDOWS, I think it's also pirated, and there are also some OEM versions. Almost no one buys the genuine one.

Take a very simple example: If there were no pirated WINDOWS on the market, would you still spend 900 to 1500 on WINDOWS? At least a large part of people would switch to LINUX, and a large part of people would drive a large part of people to use it. {Now the usability of LINUX has been greatly improved, but the software is extremely few, and I haven't seen large-scale games at all}. When there are more people using it, economic benefits will be generated, and many companies will develop software under LINUX, including game software, etc. LINUX will develop well.

Regarding Windows and Linux, our teacher has a famous saying: Windows is widely popular among the general public, but... obviously we don't belong to the "general public" (students laugh). We are students of a specialized university in the science and engineering field, and we need to learn to use a professional operating system: Unix (warm applause). Newcomer reporting

To be honest, although everyone has opinions about Microsoft, we can't deny the usability of Windows. From a professional perspective, Linux is indeed a great thing, but from the perspective of office work and entertainment, who doesn't like to use Windows? There's a saying, despise the enemy strategically but value the enemy tactically. Linux needs to learn from Windows to a large extent.

Personal opinion is that in the next generation of computer training, what kind of operating system should we enable them to use?

The operating system of future computers will also depend on how we, at present, influence the next generation!

Linux still needs to make some efforts in terms of interface. It's indeed not as user-friendly as Windows. But for program developers, it's a rare thing. The Windows system under security protection often stifles many people's creativity.
