These are two types of boot disks. Although both can read data from the USB flash drive under DOS, many older motherboards do not support USB flash drive booting at all. The floppy disk boot can read the data from the USB flash drive. I have had such a boot disk long ago and have been using it all the time.

Boot from a USB flash drive floppy disk under DOS. After booting, you can directly access the USB flash drive and exchange data with the C drive. How about the speed? I took 66 seconds to copy a 4MB file from the C drive to the USB flash drive under DOS. What about you?
