Since IMZ comes in 2 formats, why can't I unpack it with either unzip or GZIP －d? When I use winimg it always shows batch assistant. I don't want to write it to disk, I want to study the files? dx, help me out, let me take a look at the files...

Open it with WinImage and save it as *.img format, or write it to a floppy and then make it again as a *.img image.

Seems like you can just rename it to an IMG file and use it, right? HD-COPY or WinImage should both be able to open it, right?

IMZ is WinImage's compressed format, so renaming it, or even using HD-COPY or HD-COPY FOR WINDOWS, won't open it.

If it's an IMZ made by WinImage, it's really just IMG+ZIP with the name changed.

It's that multi-boot disk the moderator made with grub, the 3 IMZ files in the boot folder: Romdos.imz, msdos.imz, and freedos.imz

What it shows is information for compressing IMG into that RAR; what I want to open is the RAR\.IMG\IMZ, boss...

Rename *.im？ to img
