DOS stands for freedom, openness and progress. Let us work hard, learn from the openness and GNU spirit of FreeDOS and Linux, and together build and grow a free GNU GPL world!

Dear前辈s:
I downloaded the IBM PC-DOS 1.1 version program from the new DOS era. After decompressing, I found the Ibmdos11.td0 file. May I ask what program can open it and make a system disk?
Thanks a lot!!! Qingting

Is this a disk image made by TELEDSK? But that thing is very stubborn. It insists on decompressing to a 5-inch disk for a 360K disk. Do you want to go find a set of 5-inch floppy drives and 5-inch floppy disks just to take a look?

Teacher Mo, since you have a 5-inch floppy disk and floppy drive, you can use them to extract this file and create an IMG format, then I can use this IMG format to replace the original TD0 file, how about that?

The floppy drive is just okay, but those miscellaneous 5-inch disks have been stored for at least 5-6 years. Is there any possibility of them still being usable? I really want to explore whether a virtual disk can be used instead.

That's right! I haven't used .td0 files before. I'll download one tomorrow and have a play. I think there should be other software that supports them too, like the UNDISKP software.

I vaguely remember encountering files with such extensions in 1995 and 1996. Of course, it seems that some software was used to extract them, and I need to rummage through boxes to find it. I'll download one and try it tomorrow first.
